In a vibrant celebration of empowerment and advocacy, the 2024 Meet, Greet and Inspire (MGI) Summit, spearheaded by Women Volunteers For Peace (WOVOP), Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA) Kenya, CSO Network, and Winam Grassroots, illuminated Kisumu County with a beacon of inspiration. This year’s summit transcended boundaries, bringing together women leaders, mentors, and young women leaders in a dynamic exchange of ideas, networking, and motivation.

One individual who stood out among the recipients was Betty Okero, whose unwavering dedication to mentoring young women leaders was recognized with a prestigious award.

Additionally, the summit welcomed esteemed leaders such as Madam Vallary Oyando, Mary Were Opot, Celestine Oginga, Grace Orao, Yvonne Ogollah, Winnie Wadera, Awatt Awatt, Seraphine Ambale, and Davies Ochieng from NGEC, whose collective wisdom and experience enriched the summit’s discussions and workshops.
